Behavior Policy and Rules



If you are being disrespectful or not following the pool rules:

1st Offense -- verbal warning from Lifeguard, WSI, Supervisor, or Manager.

2nd Offense -- asked to leave the pool for the remainder of the day.

3rd Offense -- asked to leave the pool for seven days and a parent will be contacted.

4th Offense -- asked to not return to the pool for the remainder of the season.  No refunds will be offered on season passes.


RULES 

General - 
  1. No running
  2. If the lifeguards haven’t blown the whistle, you can’t be in the water (this includes the 0-depth entry area and the geysers)
  3. No roughhousing
  4. No climbing on people (no chicken fights)
  5. No hanging on the ropes
  6. No diving in the shallow area
  7. No toys (including balls) or floaties unless its past 5 on Sunday Night
  8. Lifejackets are only allowed during the evening swim session
  9. No climbing the fences 

Slide - 
  1. One person at a time per slide
  2. Height minimum of 48in (see height pole)
  3. No lifejackets

Rock Wall - 
  1. Two people at a time max
  2. No staying in the water (must wait on the concrete)
  3. No diving off the rock wall

Diving Boards - 
    1. One person at a time 
    2. Every other diving board
    3. Height minimum of 48in (see height pole)
    4. No shaking the diving board
    5. No jumping towards the sides of the pool, you must jump straight out into the water.

Activity Pool - 
    1. All parents, guardians, and care providers must be within 1 arms reach of all children age 5 and under. 
    2. All children must be in a seated and feet first position when going down the kids' slide.
    3. No running or rough play in the pool or around the pool deck.

Health Related Rules - 
  1. No person with or suspected of having a communicable disease which could be transmitted thorugh the use of the pool shall work at or use any public pool.
  2. A person with any considerable area of exposed sub-epidermal tissue, open blisters, or cuts must be warned that these may become infected and advised not to use the public pool.
  3. Any person using a public pool must take a cleansing shower using warm water and soap and thoroughly rinse off all soap before entering the pool enclosure. A user leaving the pool to use the toilet must take a second cleansing shower before returning to the pool enclosure. A person who exercises, applies lotion, or uses a sauna or steam room must shower before using the pool.
  4. Spitting, spouting water from the mouth, and blowing the nose in the pool is prohibited.
  5. No running or boisterous or rough play, except supervised water sports, is permitted in the pool, in dressing rooms or shower rooms, on runways, on the diving board, or platforms.
  6. Glassware and similar materials with a tendency to shatter on impact is not allowed in the pool enclosure area. 
  7. Domestic animals are not permitted in the pool enclosure, showers, or dressing rooms.
  8. Smoking and use of e-cigarettes are prohibited in the pool enclosure.
